Through the Looking Glass 2014

My granddaughter Sarah helped with the first Dinosaur quilts, but hers has disappeared. When she told me she wanted flying pigs for her adult quilt, I was at first taken aback, especially since I had no intention of doing another appliqué quilt at this time. I decided that embroidering the pigs would not only work but would keep it from looking like a child's quilt. I chose the Irish Chain pattern, since it contained white squares suitable for doing embroidery work.
