Disappearing 9-Patch 2014

Last time I visited my cousin Sharon, she showed me some 9-Patch squares that she was putting together to make a Disappearing 9-Patch. Once the basic square is made, it is cut into quarters, rotated, and sewn back together. I was intrigued by this, and decided to give it a try. This quilt is the result. I made it for my step-son Keith. I have been reluctant to make one for him in the past because his pets slept with him and the cat clawed at the covers. Since at the moment he is pet-free, he gets a quilt. I liked the pattern and the ease it went together, so I immediately made a second one for my granddaughter Ashley
